Data the provider does not collect
The GroomRecall provider does not receive pet records, photos, grooming notes, client contact details, app-usage analytics, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, crash reports, location, or tracking data from the app. The app includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK.
Data stored on the device
Depending on what the user enters, GroomRecall can store business branding, client and pet details, photos, grooming recipes, private observations, owner-facing text, visit history, rebooking reminders, app settings, and a cached indication of Pro access inside the app’s local iOS container.
This information stays on the device unless the user deliberately exports a backup, saves or prints a generated file, or shares content with another app or person.
Camera, photos, and notifications
Camera and photo-library access are requested only when the user chooses to capture or select an image. Both are optional. If notifications are enabled, GroomRecall schedules optional rebooking reminders on the device; reminder content is not sent to a GroomRecall server.
In-App Purchase
Apple’s App Store and StoreKit process the optional GroomRecall Pro purchase and restoration. GroomRecall does not receive full payment-card details or attach pet, client, photo, or grooming-record data to a StoreKit transaction.
Exporting and sharing
GroomRecall can create client PDFs and local JSON backup files. These leave the app only after the user initiates an export and chooses a destination through iOS. That recipient, printer, file provider, or cloud-storage service then processes the shared copy under its own practices.
Private groomer notes are excluded from client reports by the app’s report data model. A backup can contain private notes and should be stored securely.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until the user deletes records, uses Delete All Data, or removes the app. Deleting data inside GroomRecall does not delete copies previously exported, printed, or shared. Device or system backups may retain copies according to their settings.
Security and limitations
GroomRecall relies on the iOS app sandbox and device security controls. No storage method can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their device, keep iOS current, and choose secure export destinations.
GroomRecall is a grooming workflow tool. Its care and behavior fields are for groomer observations and owner-supplied information; it does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
Children
GroomRecall is a professional business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if app features or data practices change. A monitored privacy contact and the publisher’s legal seller name are pending and must be added before App Store submission.
